"Unfinished Business" Philly's Fusion Sensation!!!

Philly's fusion sensation!!! Contrary to their name, there is no business that is not finished when you bring this group to the table!

Unfinished Business is a Philadelphia based fusion band that packs the punch, while still delivering those smooth sweet melodic moments for everyone's enjoyment! With this band you hear it all. Jazz, funk, R&B, fusion, you name it! All in a unique style that’s guaranteed to make you listen!

The band was founded in 2018 by saxophonist Al Reid Jr with members Christopher Burton on keyboards and Malik Chandler Sr. on drums. Later on the group added bassist Timothy Ragsdale to the fold, who was a long time musical colleague of all the members.

As the children of well known Philadelphia musicians, these guys have one mission: To take it to the next level as the next generation!!!

As individuals, the members have 15+ years of experience in the music industry playing for both mainstream and local artists while traveling nationally and internationally

Unfinished Business has been performing in the greater Philadelphia area for the last five years doing various events and multiple venues. Some of these include:

Haverford Music Festival 

Warmdaddy's

IPAM jazz club 

Allegheny Music Festival

Love Park (Philadelphia)

Philly Platinum Grill ( Now "Julz")

Illusions Banquet Hall and Sports Bar

Shaking Crab (South Philly)

And a host of other shows for private clients, municipalities, campaign events, etc.

In addition to the fact that they had musical teaching in the home, each band member has also studied with well known musicians of their respective instrument both from and outside of Philadelphia. 

When these guys hit the stage, they bring the individual experience of 15+ years combined with the experience passed on to them by their fathers and teachers; for a combined experience of 60+ years!
